If you want to learn something new nearly every day, try getting a job as a(n almost) librarian.
Who would have known that the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Statements on Auditing Standards are printed in the AICPA Professional Standards? I spent several minutes casting about online trying to find them, only to find out from someone else that they were 3 feet from my desk.
Now, I'll probably never get that question again in my life. But if I do, I'll be prepared!
