The lesson in Relief Society today was based on Dieter F. Uchtdorf's October General Conference address, "Of Regrets and Resolutions." I heard the talk when it was given, read it at least twice later, and have since heard a Sacrament Meeting talk based on the original address.
I admit I grumbled a bit to myself when I saw the topic of today's lesson. I realize now, however, that there is a certain lesson I need to internalize, one that's not even explicitly stated in President Uchtdorf's talk, but that was explicitly stated in Relief Society today. I've heard the lesson many times, and will probably hear it many more times before I master it. But I'm nonetheless grateful that the Lord is willing to repeat the message as many times as it will take for me to learn and apply it.
