Today is going home day. According to Grandma Redd, I wouldn't need to bathe today, since tonight I can bathe at home. This is a practice to which I often adhere when traveling, but I went ahead and took a shower last night anyway. After the salmon dinner and walking among all the food aromas in the blazing hot gymnasium last night, I felt a shower and shampoo were in order.
Niece #2 originally asked to go to the shopping mall today, but I believe this was motivated mainly by a desire to visit the play center, not from a desire to bond with her auntie. Instead, we are going to the public library and to Target. Then, I leave for the airport about 5 pm.
