The peppers don't have much flesh on them and are a bit tough, but I just ate the one red pepper I've harvested, because getting red peppers was the whole point of the exercise. But they'd be fine for cooking. I harvested the green ones from the two sickly plants, hoping to keep them alive and producing, though I don't think they're going to make more peppers.

The long-time growers near me would be consumed with envy. I heard just today that they can't get any peppers on their plants. Congratulations!
