Looks Can Be Deceiving, Or, Sweet Sunday II
French Almond Nougat recipe in Candymaking, Kendrick & Atkinson, 1987
Despite its pedestrian, unassuming appearance, the candy was delicious. I think the salt didn't completely dissolve, so some bites contained that sublime juxtaposition of a grain of salt against the candy's sweetness.
