I pay tithing to the church, and I'm happy to do it. I just realized, however, how much money is actually involved. For me, it's the equivalent of a decent car payment or a new piece of nice furniture every month.
I'm not going to try it, but it would be interesting to go a year without paying tithing and see what I have to show for it in the end.

May I suggest that you would have a big fat nothing to show for it? I suspect that "bad things" might begin to happen to an unwise Auntie K.
