Dear MTSU Library,
I will not be at work tomorrow. Your new professionally-voiced closing announcement literally scared the liver out of me when it aired at 11:30 pm from a speaker directly over my desk at 115 dB.
When I find my liver, I may be back.

Get a pole ten feet long. The next time, stick pole into speaker until speaker does not speak.
Problem solved.
How funny. That's like last week during the tornadoes when a cop outside my office started using his loud speaker towards traffic on the flooded street. Jumped clear out of my skin.
