Holiday's End

Only among true friends can I admit that I've basically been on holiday since Dec 23, even though I went back to work Jan 2.

Today, I played the "female complaint" card at lunch time (just an unnamed malady to my coworkers) and spent the rest of the day in bed with a hot pad.

Fortunately, I was well enough to read a book start to finish while I was at it. Since reading in bed all day is my true ambition for any holiday, I suppose I will now be brave and declare the hols officially over. Better late than never, right?

I've been missing my work nametag for a couple of months. Admittedly, I never searched for it with much diligence.

Today, I realized it was actually in its designated spot all along. How on earth did I not see it?!
